A Family Business
Raised in Fort Lee, New Jersey by a father born in Syros, Greece, I was a member of the SYROS family from day one. Eager to join my father in the family business, I started working on job sites in New York City by the age of 14, helping my dad with renovations during weekends and summers.
After my high school graduation, I followed in my father’s footsteps and took a full-time job with the company. Starting out with small demolition projects, I worked my way up the ladder little by little to become a full-service general contractor.
I took over SYROS CONSTRUCTION when my father retired in 2012, and I have kept the company growing every year to honor my father’s decades of hard work.
I take pride in maintaining relationships with the same clients that my father started with – trust and loyalty mean everything to my family, and we know that our clients share these values. We’ve worked with one property management company for over 30 years, and two of our other clients have been with us for over 20 years.
